Tricia Mockler, DDS

Trisha1

Dr. Tricia Mockler has been a patient of Cupertino Dental Group for as long as she can remember. Her passion for dentistry began while watching her mom’s first cousins, the founders of Cupertino Dental Group, Dr. Ken Frangadakis, Dr. Milton Pagonis and Dr. Gary Pagonis practice dentistry. She was born and raised in Saratoga and attended Lynbrook High School where she participated in soccer, dance, and the Girl Scouts. After high school, she moved to Southern California where she attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Mathematical Sciences. After graduation, she returned to her roots in the Bay Area and attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

During her third year of dental school, she had the opportunity to volunteer on a mission trip to Fiji where they provided free dental care to the villagers of Moala. Following graduation, she was asked to return as an Assistant Professor at the University of the Pacific Dental School. For five years, she taught in the Department of Clinical Radiology, where she enjoyed mentoring the students and staying up to date with the latest technology in dentistry. Before leaving UOP, she had the opportunity to go on two dental mission trips to the island of Jamaica, but this time as supervising faculty. On both trips, they traveled to different parts of the island for one week at a time. Four rural clinics were set up around town and the UOP students and faculty were able to provide free dental care to about 1000 patients each trip.

Before joining Cupertino Dental Group, Dr. Mockler was in private practice in San Jose for five years. Her patients are drawn to her calm, caring approach that helps them feel like they are a part of her family. In 2016, she was entrusted with continuing the care of Dr. Noel Smith’s and Dr. Ken Frangadakis’s patients. Her goal as your dentist is to make sure she keeps you at your very best. Whether you desire to maintain a healthy mouth or improve your smile, as a team, we will come up with a plan together. She wishes to build lifelong relationships with her patients and treat everyone like family just as Dr. Smith and Dr. Frangadakis did for many years.

Her professional affiliations include the University of the Pacific Alumni Association, Santa Clara County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Outside the dental office, Dr. Mockler enjoys spending time with her large Greek & Irish family and friends. She’s very involved in the Greek community and loves to travel all around the world. She loves swimming, going to country music concerts, and plays indoor soccer.
