A Saratoga native, Dr. Thomas attended San Jose State University earning a B.S. in Biology in 1989. Upon graduation he enrolled in the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, in San Francisco receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1992. Dr. Thomas completed a General Practice Residency in dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1992-93 and after that, did a year of research in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School. From here, Dr. Thomas attended medical school at Northwestern University, in Chicago graduating in 1999. Staying on at Northwestern University, Dr. Thomas completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency in 2000, and then completed an additional year of training in General Surgery.
Dr. Thomas practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including facial trauma andreconstruction, extraction of teeth, and dental and facial implants. Besides the Cupertino practice, he also maintains an oral surgery office in San Mateo.
Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Thomas places a high value on personal care and attention to detail, providing his patients with the latest in oral surgical techniques.
Dr. Thomas and his wife Gail reside in Burlingame, and are the proud parents of a son and daughter.
