Meet Dr. Alex Pagonis
Dr. Alex Pagonis received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from the University of Arizona. After graduation he attended dental school at the University of Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Alex graduated with honors as a member of the Tau Kappa Omega dental society, and received the Community Service Award for volunteer work in San Francisco. After graduation Dr. Alex joined Cupertino Dental Group as an associate in 2006 and enjoyed practicing side by side with his father, Dr. Gary, for seven years. When Dr. Gary was forced to retire early due to a wrist injury, Dr. Alex was very sad to see his father go, but looks forward to taking care of all of his father’s patients. He hopes to carry on his father’s legacy for many years and strives to provide the same compassionate dental care as his father.
Dr. Alex taught as an adjunct professor in the department of restorative dentistry at the University of Pacific for seven years, and is currently a member American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara County Dental Society. He has enjoyed traveling with the school on dental outreach programs to: Ecuador, Peru, and Fiji, to help provide dental care to the underprivileged. He loves continuing his dental education and strives to keep current by attending advanced courses at the Kois center in Seattle and the Spear center in Scottsdale. Dr. Alex enjoys all aspects of general dentistry: from simple fillings to complex cosmetic cases and implant dentistry. Now practicing for 10 years Dr. Alex truly loves to see the improvements made in partnership with his patients in their oral health, and the relationships that have been formed as a result.
