Alyssa Takeda, DDS

Dr. Alyssa was born and raised in Fresno, California and graduated from California State University- Fresno with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. Her interest in dentistry stems from her family as her father is a dentist practicing in Fresno. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Alyssa spent time observing her father’s practice and admired the relationship he had built with each of his patients. She also had the unique experience of serving with her father through local dental mission trips in the greater Fresno area, including her father’s hometown. Dr. Alyssa attended dental school at the University of Pacific in San Francisco and graduated with honors as a member of the Tau Kappa Omega dental honor society. During dental school, she continued to provide service to those in need; she represented her class as the leader of the school’s annual dental mission trip to Fiji for two years. After dental school, Dr. Alyssa returned to Fresno to complete a rigorous General Practice Residency at Community Regional Medical Center and VA Central California Health Care System.

 

Dr. Alyssa joined Cupertino Dental Group to work alongside her husband, Dr. Alex, and is committed to dental excellence and superior patient care. She cares for her patients with the same consideration and attention to quality dentistry that she would for herself or her family. Her goal is to make every patient feel special and to make them a partner in their oral health care treatment. She strives to build the relationships with patients that she witnessed while observing in her father’s practice.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Alyssa can be found racking up splat points at OrangeTheory or cheering on her two sons, Maddox and Parker, from the sidelines of their various sports and activities. She and Dr. Alex stay involved in their neighborhood cabana club and volunteer at their sons’ school. Family is always priority, and that’s why she feels grateful to be at Cupertino Dental Group.
